Estate Planning

Estate planning is about providing for your loved ones and protecting your property. Wolfe Law can help you make a plan.

Jenifer is an experienced estate planning attorney who assists individuals and families with putting together an estate plan that brings peace of mind and carries out their wishes.

If you have children, your estate planning documents can designate who will serve as guardian of your children if you were to pass away. If you are an LGBTQIA+ individual or family, estate planning can ensure your wishes are followed even if there are subsequent changes in state or federal law designed to limit or take away your rights. If you own a business, estate planning is an important part of planning for transitions of ownership or leadership should you pass away.

If you don’t have an estate plan yet or would like to update your current plan, Jenifer can help by drafting one or more of these core documents for you:

  • Wills

  • Revocable Trusts

  • Powers of Attorney

  • Health Care Directives

Litigation & Disputes

Wolfe Law helps resolve disputes across North Carolina. Wolfe Law uses a common-sense approach that focuses on finding creative and cost-effective solutions.

While some disputes must be resolved in court, it’s often in the client’s best interests to resolve the dispute outside of court. When disputes cannot be resolved outside of court, Jenifer uses her skills as an experienced civil litigator to help her clients navigate the court process.

Since the costs and outcomes of litigation are always uncertain, Jenifer tailors her approach to dispute resolution based on the unique needs of each client and each case.

Jenifer focuses her litigation practice in the core areas of contracts, business, real estate and construction, including:

  • Contract disputes

  • Commercial lease disputes

  • Business partnership disputes, including management deadlocks, breakups & exits

  • Disputes among businesses

  • Disputes involving managing and operating agreements
